and monitor control mechanisms in the Technical Support Unit to ensure that a consistently high level of service is maintained. Keep service standards and working practices under review and, together with key customers, refine them to better meet the changing needs of the key customers; actively manage the flow of communication to and from the Unit. Encourage and champion the work of the Unit to key customers and other areas of the business; maintain the Society’s policy archive and technical library ... and much more!!
The post holder will have overall responsibility for the development of new policy documentation, application forms, and other product documentation for insurance, investment and pension products including system produced letters. In addition they will be required to provide a consultancy service for specialist technical enquiries from customers, sales staff and other Head Office departments and to liaise with Inland Revenue, PSO and customers` professional advisors regarding technical enquiries and to carry out specialist user acceptance testing, taking responsibility for the accuracy of any technical content ... and much more!!!
This is a key position - and requires at least 5-years` relevant experience in a managment positon - plus the FPC qualifications.
